Prelude Solutions is a woman-owned telecommunications consulting company helping organizations explore options for optimizing current communication platforms, in-depth auditing, creating and validating the ROI, service and solution selections, project management and recommendations for telephony and contact center roadmaps. 

Prelude performs an in-depth analysis of your communication services and systems with the objective of reducing costs through pure savings, credits, erroneous charges and service realignment. We save our clients an average of 33% on their telecom spend using a contingency fee-based model. Additionally, we provide a roadmap for the future as we look to our 260 + partners for agnostic services and solutions.

​The consulting firm was founded in 2005 and Prelude Solutions was incorporated in 2016 to focus on a pure consultative approach for all our services.

Our Journey

Prelude Solutions’ CEO and Founder Cate Heaman started this entity in July, 2005 as a telecommunication auditing company. In the early years, the auditing grew to project management and managing RFP’s for telecom services and systems. In 2008, the entity expanded services to telecom system hardware and software and quickly become the fastest growing regional Platinum Avaya Partner and Shoretel Silver Partner. As CEO and Founder, Cate Heaman grew this company to over 45 people and $12 million in revenue. In the latter part of 2016, Cate sold off the hardware/software and started Prelude Solutions as a telecommunications consulting company that today provides over 260 plus services and solutions as a woman owned business. In 2020, Prelude was named one of Philadelphia’s fastest growing companies and expanded services globally.
